The FC Boulder Financial Aid Program exists to ensure that our players and families will continue to experience the fullness of life in our community through participation at FC Boulder.
At the beginning of each season, families in need of financial assistance submit applications for financial aid. The profiles of these families range widely… single parent households, families with multiple children participating in soccer, grandparents who are legal guardians of their grandchildren, even young adults who may be presently living on their own, providing for their own needs.
Whether it is or is not known to players and their families, almost every team in our Club consists of players who have applied, and in many cases received, financial aid.
To be eligible for financial aid awards, families must meet certain criteria. For example, they must be in good financial standing with FC Boulder. They must provide evidence of current work status and yearly income. They must provide information on the number of family members in the household. These data, and other complementary information, are then reviewed by a committee which makes a recommendation to the Club regarding the level of financial assistance each family is entitled to receive.
We are proud to say that we are one of the most generous soccer clubs in Colorado, if not the Western Region of the United States. We value our families, and do our best to make soccer accessible for all.
